You build, he picks.

The head coach is his own man, with his own shape and his own opinions about your signings. You will not find a way to overrule him. That is the job.

A world, not a league.

Fifty countries, full pyramids, every club real — its own squad, its own coach, its own director. Sixty thousand footballers, and your scouts have heard of a few dozen of them.

Start at the bottom.

Three clubs at the foot of the English pyramid will take a chance on you. Pick one. The road up is long, and it is meant to be.

How it plays

Three clubs are willing to take a chance on you.

Every man on the books, and what he costs you.

A rating is a rumour until somebody has watched him.

Your scouts see a slice of the world. The rest is somebody else's business.

At seventeen you decide: a contract, or let him go.

Coming to phones

Director of Football is coming to iOS and Android.

In the meantime, the browser build can be added to your home screen and runs full-screen: on iOS, Share → Add to Home Screen; on Android, the browser menu → Install.

Closed test

This is a test build. Things will be rough. A bug report is worth more to us than a polite silence.

To report one: Settings → Export a save file, then email us the file with a note about what you were doing when it happened.

The game saves itself on your device as you play. Continue picks up where you left off — closing the tab does not lose your progress.
